Esplanade Park Fremantle

Winter Festival brings Western Australia an enchanting experience for the young and the young at heart. The idyllic surrounds of the Fremantle Esplanade Park will be transformed into a magical festival dedicated to the delights and traditional wonders of a white winter.

Attractions include the return of Australia’s biggest outdoor ice rink, falling snow, a mountainous pop-up slide, plus music and entertainment for all ages!

Winter Festival is free to enter, although tickets must be purchased for ice skating and activities. As sessions sell out in advance, tickets for the ice-skating are available for pre-purchase online.

Other Tips!

First and foremost please check the date and time on your tickets, all tickets are allocated to a specific time and it’s really important that you don’t miss this.

Public transport is a great way to get to Winter Festival, as we are only a short stroll away from the Fremantle Train Station.

We recommend you arrive 15 – 20 minutes before your skate session to allow enough time to admire the scenery and jump in the skate hire queue.

Sessions are for 45 minutes of skating, with a small change over in between.

Please have your ticket either printed or on your phone/iPad (barcodes and tickets only, no receipts).

Please wear warm and weatherproof clothing as we skate rain or shine!

Most importantly bring your smiling faces, great attitudes and ‘cool’ community vibe – Winter Festival is a family friendly event and we want everyone to be able to enjoy it.
